Dear members,

Our next club meeting has been scheduled which is as shown as below:
Date: 3 May 2015 (Wednesday)
Time: 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm
Venue: Lecture Hall 1 (New Building )

We will be having a lot of fun activities such as ice breaking section on that day,
so that everyone can break the ice, meet new people and make new friends.
Members are required to pay RM5 member fees during the meeting.

Regional Musical Charity Concert 

Chromesthesia - Colours of Your Theme Song

Purpose of this event: to have a fundraiser for Teach For Malaysia.

What that might be your ask? 

Teach For Malaysia believs that education inequity can be solved if Malaysia's best and brightest immerse themselves in the realities and complexities of the issue, working together in schools and beyond to give every child the opportunity for an excellent education. Education inerquity is a reality in Malaysia - and it prevents thousands of children from living up to their fullest potential. We are enlisting the next generation of Malaysian leaders to join us in our efforts to make a difference. Be a part of the change.

Therefore, all proceeds and extra donation will go to Teach For Malaysia.

Recycling Project

Leo Club of Sunway College always carry out charity events.

As the title above, recycling project was one of our charity project.

Each of the members are required to collect 27kg of recycling item which are either newspapers or cans .

Each of the members will be given two months to collect the recycling items.

Once it reaches two months, every member must bring their respective collections to our meeting avenue.

After that we will sell the recycling items to the newspaper collector and the money will be donated to the orphanage.

Hello everyone,

  We have an announcement to be made, which is recruitment week is falling on NEXT WEEK!

We will be having our booth to recruit new members on 29th &30rd of April 2015 (Wednesday & Thursday) from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. 

Our booth will be located in front of the Student Service Department (SSD). If anyone of you is still considering whether to join or not, no doubt, our Board of Directors of fiscal year 2014/15 will be there to answer all your questions! :) 

And as for those who cannot make it to visit us at the booth, do not worry. You are allowed to register yourself  as a Leo member through the link below:

Bring your care to the old folks' home

UPCOMING EVENT IN MAY!!

Visiting an old folks' home is an annual tradition for the Leo family. 

• Purpose of this is to share our love and care for the old folks.
• Time: 8.00am-1.00pm
• Date: 21-5-15 (Saturday)
• Gather at the main entrance of Sunway University at 7:30am sharp. 
• Breakfast and lunch are going to be provided.

Our objectives: 

1. Clean up the surroundings of the old folks' home.
2. Cook a meal for the elderly.
3. Show your talent to the old folks.

Our main mission of the day is to:

 BE A GRANDCHILDREN FOR A DAY

We will also be holding a donation for the old folks' home at campus on 18-5-15 and 19-5-15.

• So, all the leo members and non-leo members are welcome to share your care with us. 
• For all the Leo Clubs member who want to participate in this upcoming event, please register yourself to this event's organizing chairperson, Leo Lim Phin Thong along with RM10 as registration fee. Thank you.

Past Events

1. Running Leo event organized by the Leo Club of Taman Petaling 
- As the event name showed, we played some games which can be seen in the korean variety show, Running Man. Here are some pictures taken during the games going on!

"Eat & Run" Station

In this station, we have to finish the food that mentioned by the commitee member. After we finished it, we need to run to the next point to pass this so called "food basket" to another member of our team. Team that took the slowest time to finish all the food and run back to the starting point will be given one point.

"Be wet or be the loser"

After we have finished the "Eat & Run" station, we were brought to the second station game by one of the commitee member. In this station, we need to choose one member to be blind folded and that member has to pour the water into the cups that we were holding on our head. No point was given in this station, the commitee members must be making jokes on us right haha.

"Nametag tearing game"

THIS IS BASICALLY THE MOST INTERESTING GAME. If any of you have watched the korean variety show, "Running Man" before, you must have been thought of how frighten this game is. No doubt, it was a fun game. We need to chase the opponent teams to tear their nametags and sometimes we have to run away from them to protect our nametag.

2. 41st Multiple District Leo Forum

- This is a 3 days 2 night event in Singapore. There were more than 900 participants participated in this 41st Multiple District Leo Forum, not only Leos and Lions from Malaysia, but there were also Leos and Lions from Australia, Singapore and Indonesia.

DAY 1 

We had our "Rock 'N' Roar" night on the first day of forum. All of us has dressed up as the theme of the night, "Rock 'N' Roar". 

DAY 2 

On the morning of the second day, we have been brief about what other Leo Clubs have achieved in the past whole year. 

At the evening of the second day, we have masquerade night. The masquerade king and masquerade king have been voted by the Leos and Lions who attended. 

DAY 3

Isn't the leo events seem to be fun? Not seem to be, but it is really fun! To be honest, by joining leo, you will get to make more new friends, gain more experiences, improve your leadership, have more opportunity to speak and the most important thing is YOU WILL GET A LOT OF FUN!
